What motivates you to do what you do?
I believe that change is possible for anyone, but it can be easy to lose sight of that truth amidst the patterns and ruts of daily life. Sometimes you need someone on the outside to help you cast a vision for how you want your life to be different, and I feel really privileged when someone trusts me to be that person.

What are you most excited or passionate about?
I love the process of learning why people are the way they are, and then helping them see that they don’t have to be defined or limited by those factors.

What degrees or certificates/licenses do you have?
I have a M.S. in clinical mental health counseling from UNO and a PLMHP license.

Favorite movie?
It’s almost impossible to pick but I have to go with When Harry Met Sally. I’ve watched it so many times and it never gets old! I love the scene when they’re talking on the phone and both watching Casablanca in their separate apartments, arguing about the term “high maintenance.” It basically created the rom-com genre and nothing has ever topped it!

Tell us about a person who means a lot to you.
My daughter. She’s three and half and honestly one of my favorite people to hang out with. The way her mind works and the questions she comes up with are so fascinating. She is brave, feels things so deeply and is also hilarious. I can’t wait to see the person she ends up becoming!
